What is breathwork?
Everything in life is interconnected, including the natural relationship between our spirit, mind, and body. Breathwork is based on the idea that our breath is closely tied to our emotions, and by consciously connecting with our breath, we can release unresolved emotions and trauma. This practice can lead to greater insight, a sense of calm, and inner peace.

Breathwork is a tool for personal growth, healing, and self-awareness. Conscious connected breathing is a simple yet profound practice that can bring about positive changes in all areas of life. For example, it can help in releasing trauma stored in the body, reducing stress and anxiety, and shifting repeated patterns of behavior that no longer serve you well. By consciously connecting with the breath, individuals can also improve emotional regulation, boost mental clarity, enhance self-awareness, and foster a deeper sense of inner peace. These changes can support healthier relationships, improved decision-making, and a more balanced approach to life.

Breathwork and Counselling

Breathwork therapy connects you with your unconscious mind. The goal of breathwork is to create a flow of energy. When we practice being conscious of our breathing, we become more conscious of our body, mind, and emotions, our habits, patterns and reactions. In the process, we become more aware of who we really are and at peace with ourselves.

Counselling and breathwork are a powerful combination for individuals who may need more than the standard 50-minute counselling session. Often, people find themselves opening up and sharing deep emotions, only for the session to end before they can fully process what’s been discussed. By combining both counselling and breathwork, individuals give their mind and body the chance to release emotions, recover, and feel more relaxed before returning to their daily lives.
